Are you REALLY into the idea of CBT, but want it to be effective enough, while still remaining safe? Hopefully you always play safe. CBT doesn’t have to involve you brutally kicking your sub in the balls (and please DON’T EVER do that!). Torture (the T in CBT) doesn’t have to involve pain at all. Think of the last time you went a few days without getting off, due to lack of time or other reasons. At the point when you finally jerked off, what if you hadn’t? What if you forced yourself to wait a few more days, or edged yourself on and off for a few hours first? Would that have been torture? I’ll bet it would have felt like torture to you. How about when you workout? You could probably pump out a few more reps, but nothing is really motivating you to. What if your balls were on the line, not in an unsafe way, but what if your balls got stretched a bit if you didn’t finish your workout? I’ll bet that would motivate you!
The first part of this multi-part series requires nothing but rope. Sure, you can add a few things to make it more interesting, but if all you’ve got available is rope, you can get by with just that and a few things around your home.
As always, make sure bdsm/kink play is safe, sane, and consensual. Never leave your sub alone during bdsm play. Prepare everything needed before restraining your sub so there’s no need to step away until after you’ve released him. When using rope or any tightly fitting cuffs, always periodically feel your sub’s hands/feet/balls (whatever is tied) to ensure they aren’t cold. Cold is a sign of circulation loss which needs to be addressed immediately by removing the restraints in that area before your sub gets hurt.
Specific to the Safe CBT tutorial series, “safe” assumes common sense and reasonable precautions. Any safe technique could be made unsafe if someone is being careless. For example, what may be safe for 5-10 minutes, may not be safe if left in place for hours. All the more reason not to leave the room when your sub is restrained, to check on him regularly to make sure he’s ok, and to ensure he not only has a safe word, but also a safe signal in case he’s unable to speak (i.e. if he’s gagged).
Be sure you have a pretty good idea of your sub’s strength and endurance level before using the ideas below. Even if you think you know him well, watch him while in these predicaments, and be ready to release him and his balls within seconds if it looks like it’s too much for him. Also, always use quick-release methods, especially when using CBT. Simple clips or carabiner clips work great for this (such as clipping two lengths of rope together so you don’t have to untie knots in an emergency). If you don’t have anything like that around, at a minimum, keep a pair of scissors nearby that’s strong enough to cut through whatever rope or straps you’re using. It’s all fun and games until your sub loses his balls! ;)
Lay your sub on a bed, table, or just on the floor. Have him lay on his back to make things easier for you.
Using medium thickness rope (too thin may bite in and/or cut off circulation more easily, and too thick may slip off more easily), tie one end of a rope around the base of his balls. You can optionally tie the rope around his dick and balls together, especially for subs with more sensitive balls.
Pull your sub’s feet in toward his thighs far enough so it’s difficult for him to hold them there, but not impossible. Run the rope from his tied balls around both of his big toes, then tie that off.
Now your sub has some “motivation” to keep his feet where you left them. His first reaction will be to extend his legs to relax them more, but if he does that, his balls will pay for it. So he’ll want to keep them right where you put them. Hmm, are your sub’s feet ticklish? Might be a great time to find out! See what he opts for…taking the tickle torture on his feet, or moving his feet trying to escape it, but yanking his balls instead.
For subs with more sensitive balls or who are extremely hesitant to try this, you can use a bungee cord in place of part of the rope. Just tie a short rope around his balls and tie an extra loop in the rope. Do the same with a short rope around his big toes. Then use a short, adjustable bungee cord, to connect the two rope loops and adjust as necessary.
Note: The chastity cage in the photo below is not required, although it does add a nice touch.
Yep, in this one you’ll actually connect your sub’s restrained wrists to his balls. But just doing that would be boring. Why not turn it into a stress position?
Tie a short, medium thickness rope around your sub’s balls, with an extra loop tied in it so you can connect something else to it.
Cuff your sub’s wrists together behind his back using locking leather cuffs, or just plain rope. (I would avoid using handcuffs for this one as they can dig in over time and you may want to leave your sub in this one for a while.)
Have your sub kneel down in a closet with a hanging rod over his head, or something similar above him that you can loop a rope over. Have something in front of him that you can also loop a rope through. A bed is perfect, if you’re able to slide one over within reach (and it’s what was used in the photos below). You can easily loop a rope around a bed rail, and the bed should be heavy enough that your sub’s balls won’t win a tug of war contest with the bed rail. ;)
Next, I’d recommend using a rope lock tie down (or you can just use plain rope). Whichever you choose, connect one end to your sub’s tied hands behind his back. Run the rope up over the closet rod, bring it down in front of him, loop it through the bed rail, then back to his tied balls. You’ll want the rope to be taut enough so your sub is forced to keep his arms up behind his back somewhat uncomfortably in order to avoid tugging on his balls, or arching his body forward like a bow. If you opted to use a rope lock tie down or similar ratchet strap instead of rope, it’s tons of fun click-click-clicking the rope tighter/shorter and watching your sub strain and struggle a bit more with every click.
If you have a simple way to connect your sub’s cuffed feet to something behind him, that will prevent a sneaky sub from trying to inch his way forward as an alternate way to make this one easier on him. In this example, I used a spreader bar clipped to locking leather ankle cuffs, and the spreader bar was clipped to a closet shelving rail behind the sub.
Now your sub has a few choices, but none of them are so great:
1. Keep his arms yanked up high and uncomfortably behind his back
2. Lower his arms and as a result, pull his own balls out forward more
3. Arch his body forward like a bow to avoid stretching his own balls when his arms drop behind his back
This one is very easy to setup, and highly adjustable based on your sub’s fitness level, endurance, and attitude.
Tie a rope around your sub’s balls, and tie an extra loop in the rope.
Using a rope lock tie down (or plain rope and a few knots will work), hook one end of the rope to a closet rod and let the other end hang down.
Restrain your sub’s hands behind his back using locking leather cuffs or rope (avoid metal handcuffs since he may be laying on them at times, and that could hurt pretty badly), then have him lay on the floor under the rope that’s hanging down.
Hook the other end of the rope lock tie down to your sub’s tied balls, then crank his balls up until the rope is taut…or a few notches higher.
Now you’ve got your sub by the balls, literally! This is a great time for an interrogation. Did you eat the last piece of pizza? Did you jerk off yesterday while I wasn’t home? What do you think about when you jerk off? I want details! If he is tight-lipped or gives you an answer you don’t like, just crank his balls up a few notches higher, and see if he’s singing a different tune. ;)
This is another great predicament for an interrogation.
Tie a rope around your sub’s balls, and tie an extra loop in the rope.
Restrain your sub’s hands behind his back using locking leather cuffs or rope.
Have your sub stand under a closet rod. Then hook a rope lock tie down to the closet rod above him, and hook the other end to your sub’s tied/cuffed hands. Then crank them up a bit until he’s forced to bend over at the waist.
If you have locking leather cuffs and a spreader bar, lock a spreader bar between your sub’s cuffed ankles. Then use rope or a bungee cord to connect his tied balls to the middle eyebolt in the spreader bar.
If you don’t have locking leather cuffs and a spreader bar, just use a lengh of rope. Tie one end of the rope to his big toe on one foot, run the rope up, through the loop you left in the rope tied around his balls, and down to his other big toe, then tie it off there.
In either of the above cases, you’ll want the rope or bungee cord short enough so your sub is forced to bend his knees a bit (or a lot, again…depending on your sub’s endurance, and just how bad he’s been lately). ;)
Now he has to choose between his quads working overtime and eventually screaming for mercy, as well as his arms yanked up uncomfortably behind his back, and the alternative of trying to stand up a bit higher and stretching his balls more than they’ll want to be stretched. If he’s still being bad, shorten the lower rope or bungee cord so he has to squat down even more.
Has your sub been bad, and now you have him locked in a cage? But he’s been a really bad boy…so you don’t want him just lounging around in a cage, relaxing, maybe even sleeping, right?
Just restrain his hands and feet using locking leather cuffs or rope. Just make sure his hands can’t reach his feet or his balls.
Tie a rope around your sub’s balls, and tie an extra loop in the rope.
Then use a bungee cord (ideally), or rope, and connect his tied/cuffed ankles, run the rope up over the cage bars, then down to his tied balls…and tie it off there. You’ll want to make the rope/bungee short enough so he can’t completely rest his feet, and he has to keep them up in order to avoid stretching his balls some.
Nice, and nice addition of the collar connected to the top of the spreader bar. And just how long did you last in that one, and how did you end up getting out of it? Was it an interrogation or similar type of challenge, or more of just a safe word and you were let out...that kind of thing?

Have been in that last position. It looks quite simple but is as tough as hell after just a short time. Collar connected to the top of the spreader too, just for extra sport....
